How Much Does the 2025 Silverado EV Cost?

While the baseline LT is available in a single Extended Range, 4WD configuration, the RST has two options: Extended Range 4WD and Max Range 4WD. Be sure to contact us if you have any questions about these trucks’ pricing:

  • LT Extended Range 4WD
  • RST Extended Range 4WD
  • RST Max Range 4WD

How Far Can the Silverado EV Go?

The maximum driving range you can expect from your electric Silverado can vary considerably depending on which configuration you choose. See below for Silverado EV range specs, and let us know if you want to learn more:

  • LT Extended Range 4WD: EPA-estimated 408 miles
  • RST Extended Range 4WD: EPA-estimated 390 miles
  • RST Max Range 4WD: EPA-estimated 460 miles

As you can see, dual-motor 4WD is standard across the lineup. However, differently-sized battery packs (i.e., Battery Pack with Extended Range, Battery Pack with Max Range) that support the ranges above also support varying horsepower and torque outputs. See below for what you can expect from each battery pack, and let us help make sure that the one you choose is adequate for your Matthews driving and work needs:

Battery Pack with Extended Range

  • Horsepower: 645 hp
  • Torque: 765 lb-ft of torque (LT) – 785 lb-ft of torque (RST)

Battery Pack with Max Range

  • Horsepower: 760 hp
  • Torque: 785 lb-ft of torque

How Can I Charge My Chevy Silverado EV?

Finally, let’s wrap up this overview of the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV by reviewing some charging specs. According to the Department of Energy, most EV charging is done at home, with drivers using AC Level 1 or Level 2 charging equipment to recharge their electric vehicles overnight. Of course, with tens of thousands of public charging stations available across the United States, you needn’t feel limited to at-home charging. So feel free to roam and take advantage of the Silverado EV range!

How Can I Charge the Silverado EV at Home?

Level 1 and 2 (w/ Dual Level Charge Cord Set)

  • Gain up to 12 miles of range per 1 hour of charging

Level 2 (w/ GM PowerUp 2 Cord)

  • Gain up to 19 miles of range per 1 hour of charging

Bidirectional (w/ GM Energy PowerShift vehicle-to-home bidirectional charger)

Please note that there’s only one Silverado EV trim that’s available for purchase right now, which is called the First-Edition RST. In the future, Chevy will be rolling out at least two additional trims (the WT and Trail Boss) for the Silverado EV. You can keep up with the latest news from Chevy through their online website

Chevrolet Silverado EV Price

At the moment, pricing is only available for the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV First-Edition RST. So before you start looking for a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV for sale, you should know that the Chevrolet Silverado EV price for the Silverado EV First-Edition RST starts at $96,495.

We currently don’t know how Chevy will price the upcoming trims. However, considering that the WT is the entry point across the entire gas-powered Silverado lineup from the 1500 to the 3500, it’s reasonable that it will reprise its role for the Silverado EV. If it does, the WT EV is likely to be more affordable than the First-Edition RST.

It’s slightly more difficult to predict how much the upcoming Trail Boss trim will be. Based on the currently available Silverado 1500 Trail Boss trims, however, it may be priced between the upcoming WT and currently available RST, or even exceed the latter in price.
